STUDENT VISA APPLICATION PROCESS

Please note that once student capacity is reached the application will close. We accept applications from 8-6 months before the month of admission. In addition, we recommend that you submit your application as early as possible because the application process may take time and additional documents may be requested.


When applying for a student visa, our school will take care of the procedures at the Immigration Bureau, on behalf of the applicant. The application will follow the process below.

[STEP 1]  Application

Please fill out our questionnaire. Please, carefully fill in the form once you have properly understood the content of all the items listed. As part of the screening, an online interview may be conducted. If some parts remain unclear, please contact us.

[STEP 2] Screening process of the submitted application

 

We will email you the necessary documents for the student visa application within 2 weeks. Please, note in advance that we will not send any notice to unsuccessful applicants.

[STEP 3] Preparation and sending of the necessary documents

We will support you with the preparation of your visa application and check the necessary documents with you by email.

[STEP 4] Submission of the documents  to the Immigration Bureau

After submitting your application to the Immigration Bureau, the Certificate of Eligibility for resident status will arrive to our school after 2~3 months. We will notify you of the result by email.

[STEP 5]Payment of the school, insurance and dorm fees

You must pay the course fee, overseas student insurance fee for 1 year in a lump-sum payment, and 6 months of dorm fee. Once you have paid the school fees, we will send you your COE, and your certificate of enrollment. You will also be invited to have a placement test and an online interview to confirm your class level.

[STEP 6]Submission of the documents to the Immigration Services Agency of Japan

Visa application procedures depend on your country’s Japanese Embassy or Consulate, so the necessary documentation may be different. Check with the Embassy/Consulate in your region beforehand. Afterwards, decide where you plan to stay in Japan and purchase your plane ticket.

[STEP 6] ENTERING JAPAN AND ORIENTATION

We will pick you up from the airport and bring you to the dormitory. On the day of orientation, you will receive textbooks, a school guidebook, and necessary information and procedures for living in Japan
