At Yamanashi Culture and Language Academy, our EJU Class is designed specifically for students who aim to attend a university in Japan. The class focuses on the key subjects required for the Examination for Japanese University Admission (EJU), which is necessary for international students wishing to apply to universities in Japan.

Students will receive targeted instruction in areas such as Japanese language, mathematics, and science, depending on their intended field of study.

We will be focusing on:

  • Strengthening your Japanese language proficiency

  • Mastering the specific subjects covered in the EJU exams, including Mathematics, Science, and Japanese

  • Providing intensive practice and exam strategies to boost your performance

  • Assisting in crafting a compelling study plan and effective time management techniques

The class is FREE for students who take any 山梨外語学院 course!

EJU class starts on January 10th.

Subjects of class:

  • Japanese

Japanese examination consists of “writing” “reading", "listening” and "listening and reading". Students study Japanese with the goal of developing an appropriate balance of basic vocabulary and expressions. After laying a foundation, students use the exam they passed to practice and improve their skills. Probe exams are given frequently so that students can identify their areas of weakness and work to strengthen them.

  • General Subjects

International students who wish to study at a humanities university in Japan are required to demonstrate their proficiency in "General," a subject included in the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students. This subject aims to assess students' ability to think critically about contemporary issues in both the international community and modern Japan. Through problem-solving exercises, students will develop their understanding of geography, history, politics, and economics, gaining knowledge about the world and Japan. Our classroom sessions are designed to help students achieve higher scores on the test by strengthening their grasp of the subject matter.

  • Mathematics

The majority of public and private universities in Japan demand that applicants pass "Mathematics 1" of the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students. Students who want to major in science must take "Mathematics 2 ". The Major Mathematics 2 course focuses on topics such as vectors and progression, providing students with an opportunity to delve into mathematical fields that may not have been covered in their home country's educational curriculum. Scoring high in Mathematics 1 and Mathematics 2 in the EJU can greatly contribute to clearing the entrance examination hurdle.

  • Science

This lesson primarily covers chemistry and physics, two topics that are significant parts of the EJU test. We give a thorough overview of the foundational ideas and real-world applications in the first half of the session, enabling students to successfully respond to a range of queries. To help students successfully navigate the challenges of the entrance examination, we extend the focus and engage them with more difficult and complex questions in the second part. Our goal is to give students the skills and knowledge they need to do well on the chemistry and physics portions of the EJU and achieve their desired results.
